Operator Removal: Whitewolf2

Please note that WhiteWolf2 is no longer a member of the Twilight Operator Team, effective immediately. This was due to poor conduct towards other members of staff.

DO NOT apply for this position as we have no intention to fill it as of yet.

We’ve removed the following Operators from the team

- Shambles

Removed due to inactivity.

If you have questions about the removal of these operators, or any other queries please email inq@tga.za.net

Zwetch Has Been Removed From The Operator Team

Inquisitors have felt the need to remove Zwetch from the Operator team as he was still breaking rules after he was asked not too. This concerns IP banning users.

Please take note that he is no longer part of the team.

Staff Amendments: Take Three!

Forced Leave:

DeAtH-rOaD, Storm and Whitewolf2, as of the 22nd of February until the 8th of March, shall be taking a two week break.

During this period, we’d like to see more activity from the ops, we’ve noticed you guys being a little hesitant on the harder tickets and gracing the other three with them; with great power comes great responsibility.

Twilight Staff Trial — Update & Removal, Take #2

It’s that time of the month again (…), and this time round we’re removing staff and then adding the remaining to an official position on the server. The trial run has come to an end, and overall we’re really happy with the results.

The ticket system has become a way of life for some users, and it sure works better than someone solo’ing the old forum.

To keep this short:

  • We’re working on 301 tickets for November.
  • Legacy operators no longer exist (Are those smiles I see?)
  • The removal process will see everyone with statistics below 40% of tickets voted on, for November, removed.
Operator Total Votes (Nov) % of tickets voted on (301) Tickets above average of 179
DEATH-ROAD 259 86.05 80
STORM 246 81.73 67
GoOd_FoRcE 241 80.07 62
[dl]zwetch 237 78.74 58
MichiKo 236 78.41 57
Shoprite_Packet 222 73.75 43
[OptiMum] 213 70.76 34
biTshifT 198 65.78 19
UnDeRpAnT 190 63.12 11
PiTi 188 62.46 9
Frenzy 187 62.13 8
VeNgEnCe 178 59.14 -1
Whitewolf2 151 50.17 -28
Cheeezy 145 48.17 -34
DeMoNiK 130 43.19 -49
ShaMbles 125 41.53 -54
rOxOr 70 23.26 -109
CyBeRmAn 14 4.65 -165

The averages are for operators to see how they are doing.

Please note that all stats in the future, however long the period, will be for that period only as it will be impossible to catch the front runners as the tickets close after a certain about of hours.

The following will be removed:

  • rOxOr
  • CyBeRmAn

Inquisitors

Overall we’re happy with the work of the Inquisitor team as they have dealt with a few cases already, however, we will remove one member from this team.

To be removed:

  • SoloBoom

All changes to take effect by 04/12/2009. This document may change over the implementation period.

The remaining staff are now officially off the trial period. Congratulations and thank you for all of your help!

Sadly, We Let Another One Go

We regret to say goodbye to Eleyna as she has decided to move on from online gaming.

Earlier yesterday evening Eleyna told us that she would be trying to distance herself from the the online world, and this would mean that she would need to part from her position as Operator.

It’s sad to see that we’re losing someone dedicated, however life moves on.

Best of luck with whatever you decide to do in the future, and we’ll always be here if you wanna jam just one more game of DotA :)

Say cheers in the her forum thread.

Twilight Staff Trial — Update & Removal, Take #1

On the first of October, 2009 Twilight Gaming implemented the ticket system for their newly appointed operators. The new ticket system which allows to create, and vote on tickets if they meet two specific requirements. There are only two requirements needed for the system to work, and it includes: (1) the account is level 10 or above & (2) your account is verified by email.

While the ticket system is still in beta phase, some of the operators have been slaving away at making sure that the correct people are punished for various offenses. Despite the fact that there are a few kinks in the system, namely the lack of eye candy and what some call ‘simplicity’, we are really happy with what has happened over the past 30 days.

Keeping this short and to the point:

Today marks the first 30 days of the new ticket system, and as warned we will be removing certain staff members due to inactivity and lack of work ethic. While we do understand that it is a busy time of the year — exams etc — we cannot allow people to slack during a trial period. Read the rest of this entry »
