A thorough discussion was had on the forums with the following being concluded:
Camera hacks will remain illegal but not dealt with as severely as fog removal tools. Offenders will receive one punishment to their account.

The Twilight Team wishes the new moderators the best of luck.

The dreamteam started out as a group of people under Storms eagle eye, and she did a really good job. But it has grown since then into a group as important as the operators. As such iMan and max_planck will be given operator privileges so that they can set actions on hacking tickets without the need for an operator. Also dreamteam members will be given level 96 now, rather than 70.

Please note that iMan and max_planck are not operators, they are just trusted enough to get the privileges. This is to help streamline the ticket system with regards to hacking tickets.

Also, congratulations to NomNom and Thunderfoxx who are now also members of the dreamteam.

Recently WebAfrica has added an additional ip range to its customer ranges, which means for a week or 2 some of you have been unable to host on wage, even though you have been on WebAfrica accounts. This prompted me to update the server to include the new ranges. Everyone on WebAfrica accounts should be able to host using WAGE once again.

While I was in there I updated the gameinfo command to show punishments, as well as show players that have left the game in red. Hopefully this will make getting the required info for tickets easier, as all the required information should be in the gameinfo command now.

Our user Portal is written in Rails and has been ported to use the 3.1 stack. You may have noticed a couple of ours downtime today while we ran the update. Things are looking good now but please do be sure to let us know if we missed something. This shouldn’t really affect you, but you may notice some speed improvements specifically around the loading of assets (images, stylesheets and javascripts).

I have also added a link to the lost password screen from the login page (about time ) and fixed a bug on the profile edit screen where some conditions could land you up in a situation where it wasn’t possible to validate your email address.

MWEB and Telkom are peering locally once again. What does this mean for you?

MWEB players should now be able to play in Telkom games, and vice versa.

This has been confirmed for the Cape Town and Johannesburg exchanges. You may still wish to keep your ISP name in the game title until this has been confirmed nationally.
